VBS, Rolling River Rampage, Day 5

 

While this Bible School theme is likely being used by many churches around the country, I thought I would catalog some of the special activities I did outside (but aligning with) the curriculum that was offered. My class was rising 4th graders, but I feel like most lower & middle elementary aged kids could appreciate the activities.

¹⁶ Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. ¹⁷ When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. ¹⁸ Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ¹⁹ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

The last day of Bible School was hectic to say the least. I had made the kids "Yearbooks" to take home and they shared books to have them signed by their new friends, and at our church, we take the last half hour to do a finale show in the sanctuary for the parents, so each session is significantly shortened. So, I thought I would share some of my classroom decorations from this year!
